The Play by Play of Brennan's First Haircut!

At first he was a little scared...

But then it seemed okay...

He got a little ticklish...

And then a little shy... (no pictures mom!)

He put up a moments resistance...

But was pleased with the end result!

Due for Number Two!!! Crazy huh???

Okay, so Mommy shouldn't have tried to take this picture just before bed, but Brennan really wanted to share something with everyone... take a look!

That's right! Brennan is going to be a big brother sometime in March! We're due for number two on March 28th (I'm about 8 weeks along), putting our kids about 17 months apart. We're super excited to be expanding our little family to include one more! Now the big question becomes... will it be pink or blue for number two????

Our big boy is growing up!

At Christmas, this was my sweet child. He was innocent as can be and didn't cause any trouble for mom and dad...



Today... he's this crawling, drooling, climbing, babbling, spitting, monster! And we're loving every minute of it!!!! At his last check up, he topped out at 29 inches long and 21 lbs. At 10 months, he is right on track with crawling and walking along the furniture. He can stand up in the middle of the room without any help, but has only ventured to move a foot forward a time or two.

As my best friend Angie said, he won't be walking soon, he'll be running!!!

FISH!

Adam recently went on a canoe trip up in the Boundary Waters with his uncles, Scott and Tim, and his grandpa Koenig (Umpy). They would canoe ten miles, walk a couple (carrying all their stuff), then canoe some more. While it didn't sound like much of a vacation, they seemed to have a lot of fun. They sure did catch a lot of fish.

The big prize was this 31" walleye that Adam thinks should have a permanent place on our wall. I'm destined to have dead animals on the walls of my basement I think. Oh well, every man needs a man cave.

"Auntie" Krista's Wedding!

A few weeks ago, one of my best friends, Krista Sullivan (now Krista Allen) got married. As Brennan's first official wedding, we took lots of pictures. We even got a few pictures of our little family.

Can we say... teething??? For the record, he does have one tooth that has poked all the way through and two more on the way. Can you believe it?
